Rockdale Gardens Apartments & Townhomes

I would not move here. I live there about 2 years ago and I was there for about 2 years before I moved. When I moved in I had leaks in my ceiling. Maintenance would come out and fix one leak and then there was another leak. When I would tell them there was a leak they tried to make me seem like I was crazy. My last year there was the worse. I was expecting and due to the mold in the apartment I lost my child. So when I found out I was expecting again I moved. I was not paying rent because the mold in my house. I called the county inspector on them and it wasn’t until he came out that they fixed it. They have the nerve to be garnishing my wages now. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment to anyone. Was at this apartment for a tour and i specifically ask the lady that attended to me what form of ID do i need for my application she said just my drivers license, after submitting all the documents and got accepted for tenant screening, but to be told i need ssn!! Looks to me like they lack knowledge or understanding sort of documentation required for the lease, Kyla in particular. If you have written policy anywhere regarding why someone after submitting all the documents , you can deny the application, you should let the applicant know clearly, it is completeley unetical to do that after submitting all the required documents and paying the application fees. Its just like robbery in the name of application fees. I wish I could give them zero star..you guys are not transparent enough!

On November 5th me and my 3 girls were displaced and left homeless due to a tree falling on our unit to have been a loyal tenant for going on now 12 years with no compassion or assistance for us to be placed in another unit by the property is unhuman they try to say it’s a act of God but what about yall being human instead of acting like heartless AI’s the fact that it’s now going on 3 weeks with no assistance it insane also to mention they received November rent and yet still refuse to offer another unit said something about they don’t just have units sitting around the building still has a sign that states it’s condemned and inhabitable and yet they refuse to show proof of it being confirmed to live in not sure how they sleep at night and still believe that they will be blessed or proper

On the 08/11/2025 I and my little family went for information and viewing. Defeny customer service was beyond and excellent. She took time explaining to us all the details and showing us what is available because of her service we made a decision right away to pick one of the apartment and we ended up canceling other appointments that we supposed to view. Defney was kind and explaining more into details with a smile and she was very patient with us giving us more options since we wanted something that have a direct light/ sunlight till we actually got what we wants with the best price. Rockdale Gardens needs to FIRE everybody in that leasing office, I spoke with a female name Daphne and she was EXTREMELY RUDE,NON-CHALENT and very ignorant, her whole demeanor makes you dont want to move here at all, She wasnt friendly she was very cold and the fact i am asking you questions about a application process you just blow me off and try to overtalk me and dont answer my question, I am beyond piss at this customer service, Its soooo easy to be dismissive when you not in the predicament of looking for a place, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY moving here with that disrespect and stupidity and this took place after someone kept picking up and hanging up the phone which was beyond DISRESPECTFUL. Im mad i had to give 1 star because they all deserve 0stars every last female in that office
