Robert Regan Village

I was 2hrs late with rent and was charged a $50 late fee...I asked for leniency and was refused...the owners of this place suck!! You can't use the community room for gatherings with friends or family, they have unplugged the stove located in the community room stating it is not for our use. This is supposed to be HUD housing, affordable housing, they raise the rent every year the exact % of your SS. I don't understand how a corporations this....

Lasted only one year to the day. Management is severely lacking. And don’t expect to get your security deposit back no matter how clean and tidy you leave the apartment when you leave

Safe place to house the older generation. Great community to be housed. Exercise room with weights. Treadmill. Mirror's. Great place to work out inside the facility. They have a small library and access to the internet. Outside grilling area. Common area where they have Church throughout the week. Among many other activities for our older generation to enjoy. This is a place to be at peace. No worries Grow older in a great company. Be part of a community. A place to rest and relax.

RRV is not a 55+ active community; it is a 70+ inactive complex dominated by mentally and physically disabled adults utilizing wheelchairs/walkers. There is daily traffic of HHC workers assisting patients with rehab, maintenance and life ending illnesses. EMT 911 calls are common. The building is uncomfortably institutional with extensive reverberating hallways resulting in noise complaints from reclusive, depressed home bound tenants. Before that, 26 years as a telecommunications executive. My review is based on fact and my personal observations and experiences as a previous resident of Robert Regan Village. CON: Vice President has a low opinion of all tenants Property Manager (VP of all Virginia Mark Dana properties) has a low opinion of Robert Regan Village tenants. Her opinion being; all tenants are low income with no say in how the facility is managed.
