We like this neighborhood but the only thing we wish it had is sidewalks and more trees. Legend Homes, the builder of this community thought it was a good idea to cut down every single tree and it made it look bad. Great schools here and calm place to live.

I don’t recommend living here! Unless… you live in the front of the neighborhood. If you live in the back of the neighborhood- buy a generator! Anytime the wind blows too much the power goes out for 6-20 hours at a time! It is so sad moving into a new build and having to deal with power outages because we are connected to an older neighborhood’s power grid. *Update as of March 2025! Still dislike this place. The HOA has taken 3 weeks to respond and I still do not have an answer to my question. *update as of March 18th, 2025 Power went out two days in a row for 3+ hours. A beautiful day and no power for the middle of our neighborhood… while the rest of Conroe had power. *See Photo* Traffic has gotten so much worse. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Lived here for a year now and posting an updated review. Do not move here, you will thank me later!!! The infrastructure here is AWFUL. Power outages all the time seems to be from about February til the end of hurricane season so good luck with your groceries and if you work from home. You literally cannot live here without a generator. Morning traffic is awful and recent construction has made it that way in the afternoons as well. There is plans to expand the terrible Old Conroe road which is expected to take at least 5 years to complete, I do not plan on being here when they start that. Houses are poorly built. There's no sidewalks in the neighborhood and people love to speed and run stop signs so watch your kids. Speaking of kids, I'll pray for you if your home is at a bus stop because

When I came to take a look at the new neighborhood, River’s Edge, Katie met me with a big smile and immense knowledge of the homes and processes within the development! She quickly showed me the house I was interested in and I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of this community and that this was the house I had been looking for! Katie kept me updated at every stage of the build, answered all of my questions, and was as excited as me to get to closing and pass me the keys to my new home. And it doesn’t stop there… Katie continues to help with anything I need, even after moving in!!! She is an amazing asset to anyone looking for a home and I highly recommend this new development - River’s Edge!! It’s beautiful here! Ask for Katie when you come out… you’ll be glad you did!!
