Riverpoint Apartments

My experience here has was terrible. They charge a $300 late fee, and in less than three months maintenance has entered my unit more than fifteen times for the same AC issue. They keep coming in instead of fixing it properly, often without proper notice, and have even commented on personal items in my home, which feels like a violation of privacy. There are raccoon and possum problems, parking is a mess, and despite staying in contact and making partial payments during financial hardship, they still pushed an eviction notice and added the full late fee. If you want comfort, privacy, or reliable management, this is not the place.

Update!! 9/23/24 The ANTS IN THE BATHROOM GIVE 0 sense of comfortably getting clean. I was given ant traps which do work but still! Leaving in February can’t wait to go honestly *pictures added* Update! 7/26/24 WATER LEAK; Pipe burst! This was inside my son’s closet, there was some damage but I was told our renters insurance only covers damage to their property. Took 6 days to fully repair. Repaired in good condition. UPDATE!! 11/28/23 I hate it here. My house is flooded and I’m told there’s nothing that can be done today. We can’t use our bathroom or kitchen 6/1/23 Bugs, Bugs everywhere!! I chose these apartments because they are the closest to my grandma and I’ll be able to help her when I get off work. Their communication is great! I did my app online because my work schedule wouldn’t allow me to do it in person and they got back to me the next day. They told me my income is too much for the Unit I wanted (I only picked it because it was soon) but they told me they will leave my application for future Units. 2 days later they called me back with a unit that isn’t income restricted but it’s available in August. I chose that one. Now I’m just waiting to sign my lease , can’t wait to move into my apartment!

When I started I was in a one bedroom apartment. I loved that apartment, I still think about my time there til this day. Very spacious and affordable rate. I’ve since upgraded to a 2 bedroom townhome that I also love. The office staff were very welcoming from the beginning. They are always there and patience with my many questions. The maintenance staff are also wonderful. They are ever timely with requests and helpful with tips around the house. Special shout out to Mikayla and Quan, the dynamic duo, that never knew I needed until I did!

Nowhere in the application process there was mention of these being tax credit/income restricted apartments. The management was happy to take my application fee and personal info to let me know later that I did not qualify because the applicant was a student.
