Riverlands Apartments

The "luxury" apartments are EXTREMELY unsafe and here's why. I lived here 2 years ago and am still haunted by my experience. I had a medical emergency and needed the ambulance services. I was home alone and called 911. I lived on the 3rd floor in one of the locked buildings. Fire and rescue services do not have immediate access to these buildings in case of emergency. They tried to buzz my buzzer but I had passed out. They buzzed other buzzers but no one answered. I eventually found the strength to stand and buzz them in. When I made it to the ER and was stable they told me I almost didn't make it. I almost lost my life on a cheap carpeted floor due to a major safety issue. There needs to be something in place for times like that.

Lived out here for 2 years this was my first apartment. This is a great place to move to if your family size is small or it’s just you. My only complaints about this place is it was very small like as soon as you walk out the second bedroom you’re basically in the kitchen there’s no hallway, another thing I didn’t like was there were no parks for kids and bugs (centipedes, water bugs, spiders, & roaches) getting into the unit. Maintenance is amazing and gets the job done. Office manager & staff can be rude. The washer and dryer in the hallway to use is always messing up it sucks there’s no in unit washer and dryer set ups.

The way the rental office looks will give you false hope on how the apartments actually look. They just renovated the leasing office looks very bougie, rent went up $100 as soon as they started. Not a coincidence. The apartments are dated never renovated just old. 2nd bedroom closet isn’t secure with a solid wall just a quick fix with a slab of wood to cover the outside. Sounds crazy I know. Landscaping is nice lol I’ll give them that. I can appreciate the maintenance team with quick responses. Nice gym. I don’t hear much drama where I’m located. Make sure you park in your own space. My u haul truck got towed my move in day and the rental office couldn’t do none about it $200 just to get it out all my stuff was in there had no choice smh

I can't say enough positive things about this apartment community. And yes, it's definitely a community. The staff is always courteous and willing to go an extra mile to help and everyone knows their neighbor. But the best thing about our community is the safety. I'm a single mother with a teenager. I have never been afraid to leave her alone. This community is so safe that no one comes in or out our building without you letting them in. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. Clean well lit parking and clean lobbies. I was so impressed with the quality of this community that I referred my son here for his first apartment also. I do NOT recommend anyone to move here! Only thing nice about this place is the lawn. These units are very dated! Brown wood and beige walls in 2024 is ridiculous. I was content with my little place, being here a lil over a year because my rent was below 1k a month. The beginning of the year '24 they were in the process of remodeling the rental office. Which i thought was very bogus being that they're in there for 8-9 hours a day? And it looked nice before. 2 months before my lease renewal, i was notified that my rent was increasing over $100! I knew immediately it was to fund that office. On top of all of that, this morning i find TERMITES in my kitchen cabinets, you could clearly see the wood is being eaten at.
