Riverbend at Allentown

Great Apts for the price. Access to the pool and the gym. Fireplaces in most units. Very responsive maintenance staff. Outside needs cleaning up. Nice balconies on upper level apartments.

Please do not move into these apartments. The units are full of mold, and no matter how many complaints you make, the office staff does not care. I’ve already called 311, and I can’t wait for them to come see how much mold is in my apartment and in my neighbors’ as well. This place used to be beautiful, but now it looks abandoned because nobody maintains it. The pool and the gym are also in terrible condition and absolutely disgusting.

I lived here in the 90's. I'M sure new ownership by now. Back then, it was very affordable. Apartments had plenty of space, new appliances, and ample parking. Onsite pool and clubhouse. Pet friendly. Great place to meet other singles or just socialize.

**Update: THEY NON RENEWED MY LEASE BC I REPORTED THEM TO THE CITY OF ALLENTOWN. THE DAY AFTER I REPORTED THEM I RECEIVED THE NON RENEWAL NOTICE, WHAT A SHAMEFUL THING TO DO. YOU GUYS WERE IN THE WRONG FOR HAVING A GROUNDSKEEPER NOT EVEN A MAINTNANCE MAN BUT A GROUNDSKEEPER WHOSE NOT EVEN HVAC CERTIFIED CHECKING THE HVACS!!!!!! HIRE SOME HELP AND YOU WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN REPORTED! ACCORDING TO ALLENTOWN THIS APARTMENT PROPERTY HAS HAD MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS TO THE CITY AND THE INSPECTOR HAS HAD TO COME OUT NUMEROUS TIMES. *** Worst apartment complex to live in as far as maintenance is concerned. My HVAC system has been SCREAMING since Friday 12/20(they keep the hvacs outside next to bedroom window making it impossible to sleep with it being so loud) The “on call” maintenance was OUT OF STATE

I have lived in the Riverbend complex for almost two years and it has been a terrible experience. After not allowing a tour until the move in date, I have experience multiple issues with the unit. The refrigerator is covered in rust and I was told by the manager that would have to pay an upgrade fee in order to fix that issue. There is no point in putting in a maintenance request because they could take up to a year for them to come fix the issue. My dryer has been broken since the day I moved in. After a plumbing issue that arose from one of the upstairs tenants pouring grease down the drain, they did not have the issue fixed until i arrived home from work with the sink flooded and my kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and half the living room was soaked with dirty dish water.
