River Ridge Apartments

I submitted a work order almost an entire month ago and it still has not been resolved. It's been radio silence since. The techs initially brought us some space heaters, but since then we have heard nothing from anyone regarding our nonfunctional AC/heater during one of the coldest periods in SC. Today, our water randomly went out for a few hours. I don't know if the city is doing maintenance on the lines or if our water was just off, but once again we have heard nothing from anyone. A few days ago, our landlord showed up to inspect the apartment without either me or my roommate receiving a call, text, or email notifying us so. A few months ago, there was a shooting here. I don't believe anyone was injured, but I was expecting to receive an email or text or something from management assuri

The new management is the worst I've ever lived under. Maintenance doesn't come unless you bother them a bunch of times, our heat has been out for almost 2 months. They say they need to order a part, it shouldn't take this long for anything. They turn off the water without warning, and don't give any heads up about any inspections or work around the property. No communication around here anymore. Trash will pile up at the dumpsters for days, sometimes up to 2 weeks. It stinks up the whole parking lot and it's disgusting. If I had the funds to move I would.

Shout out Mrs. Sydney and team. Truly it has been a great stay. Sorry I had to move: just needed more space for the family and yall went up on the rent. lol. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, great location from downtown, available laundry mat. Would recommend this location.

This has by far been the worst place I’ve ever lived. People have been shot here. The maintenance Horrible no one ever fixes anything. I waited several months for a lease and never received it. I received charges with no explanation management comes and goes like a hot seat out here very unprofessional. Don’t let these reviews for you. They’re probably fake reviews. This place is just horrible.

The new manager has no empathy for elderly people on a fixed income and is do quick to charge a late fee over one day for them. I wonder if they realize these are the tenants who are most loyal and sometimes everything isn't about it's about curiosity or have a heart this company has gone down completely since Key is gone. They really need her back because she ran this place very professional and she never had an attitude.
