Run far away from this slum!!!! The building is INFESTED cockroaches and bed bugs, but you won't know until its too late. Management provides inadequate "pest control" then repeatedly denies that the infestation remains. The grounds are an environmental hazard with dog feces everywhere, continuously overflowing doggy waste stations, trash, food, broken glass everywhere. Watch out for violent off leashed dogs, plenty of those as well. The "dog run" is used as a waste area full of uncollected feces. The 3 green/brown stagnant ponds are mosquito magnets as well as the always soggy grass due to overwatering. The doors to the building are broken thus unsecured. The hall carpet is stained and nasty. ⭐️ 1 Star — If I Could Give Zero, I Would The Retreat at Waters Edge is hands down the worst place anyone could ever choose to spend their hard-earned money for a roof over their head. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. It is filthy, unsafe, and completely mismanaged from top to bottom. First, the cleanliness—there is NONE. The grounds are disgusting both inside and out. You can’t walk through the building without seeing trash, dirt, and debris everywhere. Residents can’t seem to figure out how to use the trash chute, so the hallways stay littered with garbage, leaking bags, and random food. The building cleaners come on Monday, but by Tuesday—Wednesday at the absolute latest—the place looks destroyed again. It’s honestly embarrassing for an apartment complex that charges

I have live at Retreat Waters Edge for almost a month. Let's meet real, this is a huge complex taken over by new management that really cares. Yes, there are so many things that need to be repaired and updated, but Rome wasn't built in a day. The tenants here need to clean when they spill or drop things in the hallways and elevator. However, I'm happy to live here and adjusting fine. I had a couple of issues that needed attention. They were fixed right away and was fix right the first time. The maintenance people are extra nice and know what they are doing.

Honest Review I was originally interested in another complex, and this one was my second choice based on reviews. To be clear, no complex will ever be perfect! When I couldn’t tour the other unit, I told my mom I wanted to stop by here just to see what they had to say. We were greeted by Kristen, who was upfront and honest. She explained that they’re under new management and have a lot of work ahead, but she broke everything down clearly for me and my mom. The next day we toured a unit, and I fell in love with it. Applying was easy, and I’ve already signed my lease! It’s only a 15-minute commute to my job. The hallways are decent, and management has been transparent about improvements still needed.
