Resort Management has been a wonderful partner to The Essex. We're recently replaces all roofs for the 50-unt buildings, had the building exterior and sheds painted, and recovered very quickly from Hurricane Ian with their help. The owner, Rick Yaccono is a seasoned professional and expert in Florida property laws and property management requirements. I can count on Rick for guidance that meets our needs and within budget. Our Board is small - three members - and Rick supports us at owner meetings and board meetings, making updates to property signs, House Rules, and the recently announced engineering requirements for all buildings three stories and above. Peter Hughes is our property manager - he answers his phone and texts and offers fixes that would meet the need and not break the ba

Unfortunately, our experience with our Liaison at Resort Management has been absolutely horrible. He is non-responsive, does not listen, and there is nothing positive to say about him at this point. He rudely does not even allow our questions to be asked and has said instead "put it in writing" which we have done, and then he does not even then respond to what has been asked.The only response we have received from him was a letter of reprimand for Emailing him too early in the day We recently have asked Resort Management in writing to send the Maintenance Bill to our out of state address and have yet to receive it as requested. Public Reviews by Others seem to corroborate this Pattern. Perhaps, putting this our there may result in Corrective Actions.

What is wrong with this management company? They are the absolute worst. They never respond back or follow through. This has happened numerous times. Our manager is Rigo but are all terrible and rude there. The lady answering the phone is useless and always rude. Why our association keeps using them is beyond me. They are worthless. Also, I noticed that most reviews are 1 star except for one by Matt D. Matt works for Resort Management so his review is not relevant. If at all possible stay clear from this company, there are much better choices!
