Residences at The Union

As a newer Texan; I cannot adequately emphasize enough how Jonathan and his team exceeded all of my expectations, from the moment I walked in the door. Jonathan greeted me as soon as I stepped in. While some leasing reps may quickly jump into numbers and dates. Jonathan paced himself, being sure to listen to me and also ask the right questions; to ensure, I would be completely satisfied in my decision making -and I am. He streamlined everything, step-by-step, making the approval process, a snap, to get through. Afterwards, he educated me (again, I am a newer Texan) where the nearest parks are, and which utility companies to use. This manager doesn't seem interested in showing the unit that's supposed to be available. She didn't show it. She showed a different unit and always spoke rudely. She doesn't talk nicely. I went there once before, and she behaved the same way then. I went again today, and she behaved the same way, saying things like, "I showed you this before. You didn't like it," because she didn't show us the unit we wanted. All that! I can’t recommend anyone for this property very bad management

I had a confirmed tour scheduled for Saturday, 01/31 at 10:30 AM at the property. The confirmation message and website both stated the office would be open at 10:00 AM. I arrived on time and found the office completely closed, with no staff present. I called several times and received no answer. I was on a time-sensitive schedule and needed to make a housing decision *that day*, so this was incredibly frustrating. This experience felt very unprofessional and disorganized. If the office is not open or tours are not actually being honored, that should be communicated clearly. This had completely turned me away from the property.

I am editing this review to say it’s gradually getting worse. They’ve upped the price for the laundry room, where half the washers are leaking and the room stinks of mold and mildew. Their maintenance crew takes days to fix heating in the winter. And AC any other time of year. It’s like pulling teeth to get them to respond on the phone, but Jonathan is super kind and helpful!! Him and Stephanie have been great for any and all questions. My biggest complaint is the laundry room. It’s constantly disgusting (floor covered in bugs and lint and water/liquid), and the machines break all the time. It is extremely expensive ($2.50 per load washing, $2.25 per load drying - none of them take cash). BEWARE DONT LIVE HERE Place is absolutely disgusting when i moved in they had a roach problem still have a roach problem the manager in the office has a bad attitude and thinks she can just talk to people how she wants and when they respond issue violations they lack communication and will try and nickel and dime you when u dont look at ur bill each month do not live here also, that’s just the start of it. The ACs are always broken. The water is always pumping out hot water. They don’t cut the grass when they’re supposed to. It’s just a whole lot of everything but you bet they want their rent money on time. And we will overcharge you and Juan won’t give you your money back
