Jessica and Angie have been so wonderful to work with over the last couple of weeks while I found the perfect apartment at the Residences at Capital Heights. They were patient and worked really hard to assist me with the paperwork and answered any questions I had before I had a chance to even ask! The building, the general neighborhood and the apartment are exactly what I was looking for. The neighborhood is in the middle of a lot of things Denver has to offer- very walkable. This building has many different floor plans. Jessica and Angie will assist you in finding your new home with genuine kindness and dedication. Thank you so much!

I lived in this complex for 2 years. It is an older building, which comes with its ups and downs. That said, it is very affordable for downtown. I also had the most incredible view of the city. My apartment was safe, clean, and cozy. In addition, Jessica and Angie are wonderful to work with. They are very efficient and extremely caring. Maintenance is also great. If you have any issues, they are quick to take care of you. Highly recommend.

- Water gets shut off all the time, often without notice, because there is always some sort of “emergency repair” at least once a month. - If you get lucky enough to have running water, there’s still a good chance that it will be ice cold because the hot water is shut off without notice. Nothing like an unexpected cold shower to start or end your day, am I right? - Everything breaks all the time. All. The. Time. Right now all the laundry rooms are closed for at least the entire month. - Fire alarms FREQUENTLY go off in the middle of the night. In the 6 months I’ve lived here, it’s happened at least 5 times, probably more than that. - The heat and a/c in the apartments are not nearly effective enough. The a/c wall unit is incredibly loud (mine also has a very loud rattling noise that ma

I’ve been living at Residence at Capitol Heights for a few months now, and it’s been a really good experience so far. The location is perfect—just minutes away from the Capitol and downtown, which makes it super convenient for getting around. The community also feels very safe and well protected with security around at all times, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. Maintenance here is excellent. They’re quick, efficient, and always take care of any issues right away. The property manager is also very helpful and understanding, which makes a big difference. It’s clear that the staff genuinely cares about the residents and the property. Overall, I’m really happy with my decision to move here. The apartments are clean and modern, the area is convenient, and the team does a great job keep

Since avenue 5 has taken over, parking increased with no new adjustments. Emergency water shutoffs happen twice a month with no notice. “Renovated” laundry room projects leaving limited options and no water. Broken workout equipment. Constant maintenance issues as well as high turnover. Building management is unavailable. As well as frequent lock changes or lock outs due to new ‘security’. And last but not least,a malfunctioning garage with no plans on reopening. After years of miscommunication and failed promises, Avenue 5 has yet again destroyed a community within Colorado.
