Reserve at Eden Prairie Apartments

Ive lived at reserve for many years and it’s continues to get better and better. The apartments are super clean and pretty spacious, and maintenance actually shows up fast when you need them. Management has been easy to talk to and they’ve helped me out a couple times without any hassle. Overall, it’s just a really comfortable place to live and I’m glad I moved here

We lived here for 3 weeks total. While staff was helpful in the lease termination process, I can’t say anything good about anything else for these apartments. We knew going in that it was an old building which is fine. What wasn’t fine was that our unit didn’t seem to have had a thorough cleaning before we moved in, there was a huge black mold issue in our unit (so much so that one bathroom was unusable, the air conditioner was covered internally, and the toilet bowl was growing mold), people left secured doors propped open all the time, there was always junk left in common areas (someone literally left a couch in the hallway for days), kids would climb on the hood of our cars, and there were BUGS in the laundry room. Avoid this apartment!!!

We have lived in this apartment complex for almost 2 years now and here are my thoughts: I have been very frustrated with the community not caring for the amenities and the management consistently closing them, BUT, management is also usually very kind and tries really hard to be as helpful and understanding as possible. They can’t help if a few kids wreck the privileges for everyone. Some people are just dirty and disrespectful and that comes with living in an affordable apartment. Also, maintenance is sooo fast! More recently, however, I have been so proud to live in this community that supports one another during these awful times. I’ve lived in 5 different apartments around the St Cloud & metro area and this has been the most expensive and my least favorite of all of them. We moved here for the amenities which are frequently closed, dirty, &/or broken. The sauna has worked less than half the time we’ve lived here (it’s been a year now.) There are such long waits for getting maintenance that we’ve had to contact them multiple times to get anything fixed & for some things they never show up at all. There’s a dryer that hasn’t worked the entire year we’ve been here, I’ve requested it to be fixed 3 times now & it breaks after one cycle each time but hasn’t been replaced. I’ve lived here since January 2024 with my now toddler, and overall it has been a really positive experience for us. The apartment was very clean when we moved in, and I’ve never had any issues with bugs or pests. The maintenance team is truly amazing; every time I submit a work order, they are fast, efficient, and often go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. Management is also wonderful. Aryanna especially has been such a huge help. She’s always kind, professional, and willing to go the extra mile for residents. One moment that really stood out was when I had a crib delivered to the mailroom/office but didn’t have a car to get it to my apartment.
