My husband & I moved here in August and it’s been such an easy experience. We came from another local apartment building to here and it’s been a breath of fresh air. We don’t expect perfection, but honestly we don’t really have any complaints. We love having access to a court yard, clean sidewalks, a gym, a package room & the best, a parking garage. They recently did updates to the building so it’s even in better condition. When we toured other complexes, we felt they were so small, incredibly expensive & quickly built. Genuinely, here - we were the most impressed. We find our apartment corner to be pretty quiet even being close to the highway. The staff have always seemed very pleasant and helpful and always give notice for updates & such. The price here is higher, but for peace of mind i
While it is a nice building in a good spot and and the staff are very friendly, I have been plagued by issues in the year I have lived here. There is a new management company as of the past few months so hopefully things will change. My dishwasher leaked from day one and did not get fixed after numerous visits. It got to the point that I stopped submitting tickets and just left a towel on the floor in front of it. After 12 months, it was finally replaced. The fire alarm frequently goes off in the colder months due to carbon monoxide from the garage. The internet in the building is unreliable and makes it difficult to work from home (Frequent momentary internet cutouts). Xfinity has visited my unit multiple times and each time has stated all issues arise from the building, not my unit or eq
I've never written a review of anything before so you know its bad here! Do anything you can to avoid this place. They will nickel and dime you in any way they can and change rules/fees/etc at the drop of a hat. They're in the middle of renovations but no cosmetic renovation can make up for the fact that this building sits right next to train tracks that will wake you up 3-4 times a night from your apartment shaking and train horns blaring. Cracks started appearing in my walls and ceiling from the shaking but maintenance just painted over them so they could get the building sold. Even though the rent may be cheaper at face value than other buildings in the area, just know you will bleed money (and sanity) if you sign any contract that comes your way.
This apartment recently changed management companies and in the first month alone it has been such a horrible experience that we have already decided we will not renew our lease. ReNEW is trying to make so many unprecedented changes without any kind of warning. For example, effective immediately they changed parking passes for guests from $5 to $35. We know $5 was really low but the change to $35 overnight was insane. They had us change our renter’s insurance to reflect the new name, except my insurance limited the landlord to 60 characters so I contacted ReNew and they gave me a new name to put down. When I sent in the new name on my proof of insurance, I was told I got the name wrong. After checking the previous email and confirming I got the name correct they told me on the portal I act
The staff is great. Love Ebone, Dewayne, Angel, and Liz’s service! They make you feel at home (the people I’ve met)! The property definitely could use some improvements, as far as, making sure things are in decent shape. The garage needs a power wash really bad. There is bird poop all along the walls in some areas. I think the property manager needs someone to come out and inspect electrical work as well, lots of lights out in the garage. The roof top area could use a little TLC. Simple things that need to be fixed in the building would really make this place feel like it felt a few years ago. (2 wells building)
