Pros: It felt pretty safe and the building was generally clean. Being within walking distance to a handful of restaurants and bars was cool. I mostly liked the modern design. *One* of my maintenance requests was handled promptly. Cons: * We would often receive emails about people putting trash in the recycling, and that the individuals responsible would be fined. Instead, they raised the trash/recycling fee for everyone. * In the last couple months of our lease, they scheduled showings for our unit, as is their right. However the communication was horrid. For example, I was told someone would come at 4:00 for a 15 minute showing. 30 minutes later, no one had showed up, so I texted asking if I should still expect them to come. This is a new apartment, and it shows in the customer service. It’s frustrating, to say the least. Communication is a complete disaster. My tour was scheduled for 3:00 p.m., but I ended up waiting until 3:22 p.m. before it finally started. Most of the time, my emails go unanswered unless I send a follow-up. I had to ask multiple times when I’d know if my application was approved. They told me it was approved and that I should have received the lease agreement—except I hadn’t. After pointing this out, they casually told me to check again, only to later admit that they hadn’t even put the lease together yet because they were waiting for me to confirm the lease term. Renaissance Lofts is a great addition to Bismarck and adds much needed quality apartment buildings in downtown. The building is well designed and the apartment layouts are thoughtful and feel spacious. One of the highlights of the building is the rooftop entertaining and patio. There are amazing views of Bismarck and the river valley. If you are looking for an apartment in Bismarck I would highly recommend Renaissance Lofts.

Gorgeous building, wonderful residents! I've had the opportunity to work on this new construction project and love seeing it's completion. So lovely to take a walk at night in the neighborhood and see people sitting on their cute front porches. Everyone living there is so friendly and kind to me when I bump into them in the elevator, even though I'm a "worker". Nice, welcoming community.

I loved the modern decor and design of each apartment. There’s multiple different layouts to suit individual needs. The building really adds to the overall neighborhood aesthetic.
