Red Rock Vacation Rentals - Desert Color

Had a great time with red rock vacation rentals! Such a great time and experience! Me and the wife are definitely going to be returning with some friends for a trip! House was clean, cold (especially during the summer) and very cozy. Our favorite part was being within 10 seconds of walking to the massive lagoon/pool and it was so stunning to watch the sunsets every night, truly felt like you were not in Utah and we loved that! Definitely recommend!

This place stinks, although it appears nice in pictures and visually seems like a great place the entire staff that works here acts like you are an enemy the whole time. They have constantly harassed our group and others, in the pool at night that closes at 10:00 the security guard came by and threatened trespassing at 9:55… the pool closes at 10:00! There is zero resort like atmosphere and relaxation I saw them kick kids off the volleyball court, they wouldn’t let kids play with a ball in the pool. From the top down the culture of the staff is terrible. We rented 4 entire houses here and I would never come here again or recommend it to anyone, incredibly disappointed.

As a group, this was one of the worst experiences we’ve had at a resort. The college/high school–aged staff go out of their way to make sure you’re never too comfortable. Too many people in the hot tub? Kick five people out. Your kid is cold when it’s 30 degrees outside and gets in the hot tub? Get out. Throwing a football on the grass instead of the concrete? Leave. Rent a kid paddle boat without an adult over 16? Suddenly you’re not allowed to use it. Not getting out of the hot tub a full 15 minutes before closing led to staff threatening to trespass our group at 10:00, even though the pool didn’t actually close for another five minutes. All I can say is this place is extremely combative. Despite marketing itself as family-friendly, they clearly don’t want to work with families at all.

Could not believe how unpleasant the staff is! Make sure to not exceed 17 people in the hot tub. Asked five people to volunteer to get out to keep number. Don’t stay in pool area at 9:55 they will threaten trespassing at 10:00. Wi-Fi is truly horrific and was just told to reset router. Tried playing pickleball with kids and had pool card but no wristband on and was asked to go put on if I wanted to stay. Kids playing on the grass football and was asked to go play on cement….we haven’t had one staff member come up and ask if we need anything or help, but they will go out of their way to hassle you

I love staying in Desert Color. The Lagoon and Pools are amazing. The home we stayed at was incredible. Red Rock Vacation Rentals is a great host. Very Responsive. The home was very clean. I will be back and I will always use Red Rock Vacation Rentals when I come to Southern Utah.
