I've been a tenant of Red Door Operations for quite some time. I even moved up from one apartment to a two bedroom down the road a few years ago. I've stayed with this company as long as I have because it actually has a face. And that face is Melinda--quite conceivably the nicest (and prettiest) landlord I've ever had the pleasure to rent from. If you have a problem, she's right on top of it. There may not be a rec room or a swimming pool where I'm at, but I've got a decent landlord who takes pride in her business and it shows. Plus, she's always asking how my daughters are doing and with a genuine concern for their well-being and happiness. Cheap locations, but very unprofessional staffing. Trying to contact them at all is a hassle! I was in contact with an employee I don't even know the name of, and when asking any questions, they would reply with short answers or don't even reply at all. I would hear from them in the morning and never get a reply when I had anything to say. I ended up having to email Melinda herself just to try and get some information. It was strange that she ended up insisting for me to text her, and even then, I got little information. I even tried suggesting to call the management itself, to which they completely ignored the request. I have no idea why any housing management would want to contact ONLY through text. There's no direct line to the office. Had to deal with the owner, via cellphone, whom was nice and helpful a lot of the time. Had a lot of maintenance issues but it took awhile for them to send help since they had no key. And you have to consistently be on top of the request. (Took a star off for that). But Billy's awesome. 5 stars for him! The building had a small parking lot and my friends tended to stress whenever they took me since they didn't want to hit anyone's car. If they had an online payment service that would make a huge difference especially for people with no car. (Star off for this). All in all it's a hit or miss. Watch out for dogs as well when you go in the building. Though I love them, big dogs in small places, especially if wet, are unpleasant.
