The only times I have ever needed Real Property Management that have failed on every occasion (2 times in 7 years). I currently live in Walker Square. 1. My car gets hit overnight and I ask for the footage of the camera looking directly at it and it’s deactivated. 2. We get 5 or 6 inches of snow, with ice and they plow half of Walker square and the other half is completely untouched and I call to ask when it will be plowed. I was handing off between numerous employees with the last night telling me I will be directed to her supervisor. I was turned over to another call center. The customer service is some of the worst that I have ever seen and really makes me wonder where everyones COA dues go.

I’m currently still renting from this company, and my experience has been deeply disappointing. After our washer machine broke — which the lease states is THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to repair — it’s been over TWO MONTHS with no fix. During this time, our maintenance requests were DELETED, and emails went IGNORED. Despite our repeated attempts to communicate, the only responses we’ve received from Yvonne Gray and Anthony Early were that they would “pass information to the owner,” without offering any solutions or follow-up. To make matters worse, even with ten months remaining on my lease and the washer still unrepaired, they scheduled multiple showings of the property in one week — all while ignoring our concerns — and have since relisted the unit for $300 more per month. It's a long review and apologies for that but if you're considering renting from Real Property then you need to read this! I have rented in florida, ohio, kentucky and california. renting with real property inc in charlottesville has been the most backwards experience out of all of them. 1. Immediately when I moved in there were cleanliness issues, ie mold in the washer, yellow stains on the light fixture, broken glass on the bathroom floor. Someone came to clean the washer and light fixture but wasn't thorough with the washer and claimed it was just stained. I didn't argue and just cleaned it myself. 2. Then I noticed how often the elevator was broken. I was on the top floor so my petite self frequently had to lug up groceries to the 5th floor. 3. Several times issues would arise with

Avoid renting from Real Property. They ask that you sign a new lease a year and a half in advance. And, then when you really need help, such as a death in the family, they charge you the equivalent to one month’s rent to break the lease. I’m still paying rent on a vacant apartment (going on months now.) they also charged me for regular maintenance while the unit is vacant and I’m still paying rent. There was mold in the unit and they didn’t care. Now, they are using unauthorized photos of the unit with all my furnishings. They only care about how much money they can get from you. If I could warn people from renting my moldy home, I would. They plan to slap fresh paint and rent it out. Horrible

Brittany Cencewizki is by far the most professional leasing agent I’ve ever worked with! She was so thorough with her responses when I told her my concerns about cleanliness. They hire a professional cleaning company to clean all the apartments. So far, they seem to have an amazing staff. Please give Brittany a raise; she’s great!
