Raven Run Apartments

This company is awful. I am grieving the loss of my daughter and decided not to renew at my current home. I was quoted $1253 monthly for a 2 bedroom so I applied for a two bedroom early February and was scheduled to move 3/2. From the day I was approved I had been reaching out to Felicia to do a walkthrough of my unit. Every single time we spoke she said she would call me later that day. She gave me the run around so much my moving day finally came and I figured I’d just see the place when I’m moving which I didn’t want to do. I went in and signed the lease and all of a sudden Felicia tells me they put me in a 1 bedroom. I was immediately upset because I knew something was going to go wrong because she kept giving me the run around knowing I wanted to see the unit. She except me to be fine

Went to tour and the female leasing agent behaved hostile during the tour. She suddenly blocked me in the kitchen after I casually walked in to take a look around. She then began to talk "At" me about the kitchen. It was a small kitchen with a narrow entryway. I physically proceeded to walk out and she did NOT move and kept talking while looking at me. Her behavior was aggressive. Also prior to tour, in the office, personal info was taken without a given reason (maybe this is done here instead of making a copy of ID?). After leaving I called the property to simply have the information discarded/ disposed of since I wasn't interested in renting & didn't want marketing emails/calls. This place absolutely is a nightmare. One thing I am grateful for is that my building/unit doesn't have the mice or a roach issue that everyone else seems to have... in the beginning everything is cool and all... then it goes downhill. For one the water is shut off what feels like once a week, including today with no warning. I moved here in September and I just got a mailbox key like 3 weeks ago... and then the maintenance men lied on me one time telling them they called me and I told them I didnt need them when my fridge went out but I didnt have any record of a phone call after the first time he told me he was on the way, and didnt show up, then they claimed they knocked on my door and somebody opened it and told him never mind, mind you I stayed up all night waiting for this dude.. wh

Been living here for almost 4 years now and it’s not worth it. Washing Machine and dryers always down or super dirty. MICE AND ROACHES…. Did I forget to say MICE AND ROACHES!! I’m cleaning 2-3 times a week traps with roaches or a mouse on it. This month alone we have caught three mice. No matter how clean my apartment is there is always a hole that they are coming from. I have become my own Pest control. The building halls always smell or dirty, it’s always a random bee in my living room or centipede in the bathroom, or bedroom walls. Not sure why but the dust building up in the entire apartment is out of this world like I live in a dungeon. Moved in a month ago and the heater is as not working in these freezing temperatures. They try and give me a $2.00 portable heater , I ask them what will that warm. I call the office this morning and the lady Bre answered the phone I asked her how long will it be before they fixed the heater she stated she don't know. I then asked her do you think it’s fair for me to pay my full rent and my heating unit is not working she gave me a politically correct answer. This place is a hell hole I don’t recommend anyone to live here. The upstairs neighbor kids be stamping on the floor all hours of the night and roaches OMFG. Worst experience ever. And I also asked her for my mailbox keys and she stated when they have it at the office they will call me, I said it’s been over a month and I have mail in
