Randolph Towers

Poor maintenance service , contractors come and do nothing. I have complained 4 times about an air vent leak in my hvac which causes my apartment to cool down and they have don’t nothing , they come and make excuses and then close my ticket. Absolutely pathetic, also poor elevator service, for one year they haven’t been able to renovate their elevators and they are always out of service

The apartments are decent and the amenities aren’t bad, but the building has been working on the elevators since the start of the year. You have to plan at least an extra 10-15 minutes for any trips down or up. Elevators here have actually been a multi-year problem and it’s getting VERY tiresome. Also, there’s a deli convenience store inside the building. The owners of it are verbally abusive and scream profanities (on an extreme level) to tenants and Randolph Towers doesn’t do anything to support or protect their tenants. Rent with caution.

The apartments are nice, amenities are decent and the front desk workers are incredibly kind and helpful! Unfortunately, the elevators are a special kind of slow. You will lose many hours of your life each month waiting for them. The trip from my apartment to my mailbox and back is about 20 minutes at this point. They’re currently “upgrading” the elevators to be nicer and faster, but it’s been 7.5 months and it’s only gotten worse. Overall, I would only recommend this property if you’re perpetually ahead of schedule or have lots of free time to spend waiting.

Please be aware that the bidets are not allowed to be used in Randolph Towers. If you grew up using the bidets, it is your and your family's fault lol and, simply don’t live here because it violates the leasing rules and the management is not flexible about it. ***Update: Although I was upset that they did not respect people's differences/request for amendments, I like the cute note about my package's arrival :) I found it under my door- look at the attached photo~

I don’t live here, but speaking from my experience as a guest, Greg at the front desk was the rudest receptionist I’ve ever encountered among all the apartment buildings I’ve visited in the DMV area. He was unwelcoming, used a dismissive tone, and refused to communicate when confronted about his attitude. Simply unprofessional for someone in a front desk role. Apparently, according to other Google reviews, the front desk already has a reputation for being rude, and nothing has been done to address it. Why rent at a place where your friends and guests are subjected to unfair judgment and dismissal when you have many other options in the area?
