I lived there for over 2 years, but voluntarily vacated my apartment after being attacked by another tenant in the building. I moved out on the 1st of the month to protect myself and ensure my safety, and they’re still trying to charge me for the full month, and haven’t returned my security deposit over a month after the certified letter requesting its return was received by the management company. Brenda, the building manager at the time is no longer there, but she was aware of the issues with the unruly and dangerous resident & said it could take a while for them to be able legally remove him, even after almost a dozen police officers were on site, entering the building with helmets and riot shields because he was threatening to shoot up everyone in the building. They Ignored Months of Complaints — Then Someone Got Assaulted Living at Raindance Apartments was nothing like the reviews say. When I signed my lease, I was personally offered a concession in exchange for a 5-star review. This made me question how many of the positive reviews might be influenced. Throughout my time at Raindance Apartments, months of ignored complaints about a disruptive and threatening resident—whose dangerous dog even bit staff—resulted in that same person assaulting my neighbor. Management still took no action, making it clear I needed to move for my peace and safety. Though initially told I could break my lease, Village Realty later rejected my notices, ignored my objections to them keeping my security deposit, and sent my account to collections. I was a RainDance resident for nearly two years, and it was a mixed-bag experience. I will break down the good and the bad. Positives: 1. The apartments and the building are nice. Floors/ceilings are cement, which helps to reduce noise coming into your apartment compared to other places that are wood-framed. 2. Location is right in downtown WH, so there are several spots that are within walking distance, including the farmer’s market which is across the street on Saturday’s. 3. In my experience, maintenance requests were usually taken care of rather quickly. 4. The community held social events from time to time, and they were enjoyable. Negatives: 1. Moved into RainDance yesterday and already love the place and the people. Brenda Campos was amazing and easy and helpful to work with through stages of touring, application, finalization, and moving in. Residents are welcoming and engaging. Love my apartment and it was evident that it was cleaned with care before move in. Pool and surrounding area is inviting, relaxing space, and clean. Close proximity to downtown coffee, food, Farmer’s Market, and shopping was an attraction and already proving convenient. Well done RainDance!

RainDance is a beautiful apartment complex! I walked in without an appointment and Brenda was more than helpful. She walked me through 3 units and answered every question I had. She also showed all of the amenities offered and made sure to explain certain fees that I could expect when renting. She even extended the invite to the upcoming Super bowl party. Overall a great experience!
