It took a fairly long time to get the whole system setup, however, that was to be expected with the amount of steps needed. After the system was fully installed, he was very courteous with any questions I had about both radon and the system that was installed. Aftermath: The results speak for themselves. This company is actually in Alexandria but the owner explained that he couldn’t change the address despite multiple attempts. I called the company about a fan noise issue on a new fan installation from another company. Rick explained on the phone that I may have a defective fan that was from a bad batch from the manufacturer. He came on the same day and replaced it under warranty for a small fee for three replacement and handling the warranty. I appreciate that he was honest about it over the phone and was quick to respond. I highly recommend this company!

Me and my wife have cancer and then my fire found out she may have lung cancer as well. This compelled us to check for radon gas. We built our house 20 years ago and being the first owners we didn't do radon testing. We tested a number of floors (devices from amazon). We saw numbers as high as 18 (well over 2-4). I looked around the neighborhood and saw a few houses that had venting tubes so I approached the houses that looked to be the most professionally done. That's how we connected with Ric, the owner of the company. I had an existing system and decided to replace the fan (on my own). After doing so I tested the Radon levels and they were higher than I expected - so I called Ric. Within a few minutes of arriving he discovered the system was not ventilating properly because of water trapped in a non-level pipe. Upon inspecting the whole system we discovered the original builder had done a horrible job and installed a system that never should have passed code. We discussed - he quoted a fair price - and I had him fix the whole system. It has been 3 months and my radon is now consistently low (according to my testing device.) I liked him so much I had him come back the next week and replace my sump pump. He is a professional and I recommend him without hesitation.

Ric installed a radon mitigation system in my house after I discovered that my levels were averaging 7-8 pCi/L (with spikes up to 11-12 after rain). After mitigation, my levels quickly came down, and generally stay below 1.0 pCi/L (with short spikes between 1-2 after heavy rain). The system itself looks very impressive, and Ric was very accommodating by installing it in our preferred location. He came out and installed the system within a single day. He clearly takes pride in his work, and took his time to make sure it would perform effectively and look good. The system looks very clean and professionally done.
