All I have to say is do not rent from pure or Turner properties, they are the same people. I’ve been complaining about mold in my apartment since October. They’ve ignored every form of communication pertaining to the mold. My neighbor above me would shower and the water would literally run down my wall in the bathroom. I reached out to consumer affairs that’s when they decided they wanted to fix the bathroom. The musty smell is still in here. I’ve been sick on and off since December. Just recently had allergy testing done and what do you know, positive for mold. Doctor did a letter of recommendation to move or put me in another apartment and the took it as my move out date. They won’t let me break the remaining month on my lease. So while I’ve been searching for housing elsewhere I’ve also

I am currently renting a property from pure since day 1 I’ve regretted it. The house was dirty upon entering it dead roaches on the floor roach stains on the blinds walls not painted doors was broken had 2 leaks upon moving in maintenance came out didn’t do much 1 month later the hot water stop working completely the a plumber came out and said he will have to replace it because it was shot out my dad had someone go underneath the house the same day and found the hot water heater sitting on the ground (which a hot heater should never be on the ground) the wires underneath the house is rusted so it was also confirmed that there are several leaks underneath the house!!!!! I am unfortunately adding my name to the list of people who have had a negative experience with Pure Property Management -Columbia. Our attempt to rent a property through them has been incredibly frustrating and disorganized. We found a house that seemed perfect for our family and were willing to wait for its April 16th availability date. After joining the waitlist, we were invited to apply. We tried to contact them on February 18th with basic questions about fees and viewings but got no answer. We finally reached someone by phone on February 19th, though they couldn't answer all our questions and directed us to Jeremy Tilcag, who also did not answer. Despite the red flags, we proceeded with the application on February 23rd, paying the $75 application fee per person plus a $30 pet screen

I hired PURE to manage three of my properties, and based on my experience, I want prospective clients to be aware of several issues. When deciding whether to sign the management contract, I was initially assisted by the owner at the time, Chris Turner. After signing, my properties were handed over to the management team (which has changed frequently and most recently included Kenyetta, Breanna, and Ricky). Although all three properties were leased quickly, I was not informed about prospective tenants, applicant interest, or given the opportunity to approve or participate in tenant selection. I honestly don’t even know how to fully explain how frustrating my experience with Pure Property Management was. From the very beginning, communication was terrible. When we first showed interest in a listed property, we spoke with Jeremy, and the rudeness, lack of professionalism, avoidance, and poor communication were unreal. It genuinely felt like the company cared far more about collecting money than actually helping us get into a home. After reading other reviews later, everything started to make sense. We eventually scheduled a viewing after weeks of back-and-forth. I took time off work, which requires advance notice for me, only to be told the showing was canceled due to “something.” No real explanation.
