At the beginning of our lease, we actually liked this place. Brenna, the assistant manager at the time, was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, everything after that was disappointing. From day one, we had a roach problem. We notified management repeatedly, and while pest control came out a few times, the issue was never resolved. The roaches would just move from one apartment to another every time they fumigated. What was really needed was a full-building fumigation, but that never happened. We tried to move out early because I had never experienced roach issues in my life, and it became stressful and embarrassing to live somewhere where I feared opening a cabinet and finding a roach. Management’s only solution was sending pest control again and again—which I eventually refused becaus

I scheduled a tour online to view this community and was sent emails confirming the location and appointment time. I arrived at the leasing office and it was locked with no sign saying they were busy, so I stood by for a couple of minutes before calling... There was no answer on the phone either. I left a voicemail and callback number and waited for a few more minutes (I had to pay the toll in order to get there and didn't want to waste time and money before trying to wait them out). I also sent an email to the leasing office explaining the situation. The email and my call have not had a single response and it has been two days. Edit - If you do choose to move into these apartments, be aware that when you move out, they’ll send you your final move out cost (that’s due 14 days after your move out date) on the day that it’s due or it goes to collections. Then when they justify the delay in notification by saying “We do a pre-move out inspection to give you an idea of what the cost will be”. Absolutely abhorrent and asinine logic. I waited until my final move out inspection to post my review - just in case. Please note, I have no issue with people within the leasing office specifically. If you treat them with respect, they will treat you with respect. I’ve always had good experiences with them. The only people I’ve had issues with are the maintenance staff. We stayed here for two years. Extremely convenient, but that convenience comes at a price, which for me was peace of mind. Before considering this complex, be warned that the street noise from the Birch intersection is extremely loud. I had nights where car bass would shake my apartment to the point where it felt like an earthquake, and that was three stories up. I asked CVPD if they could uphold local noise ordinances multiple times, but they did nothing about it. I get they are stretched, but a simple presence would deter a lot of the issues. Also had many times where motorcycles would sit there and rev their engines for no reason other than to be an annoyance to the community. Our overall experience living at Pulse Millennia was very good. The location was convenient, being close to the park and grocery store. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed at the last minute before leaving. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the move-out costs are very high. We lived in the apartment for less than a year, kept it clean, and even cleaned it thoroughly before returning it. However, we were not given a clear breakdown of how our $1,500 security deposit was used. Like others have experienced, we were also charged an additional $500 plus other fees after moving out. Customer service was unable to provide a clear explanation, but the payment was due on the same day we received the notice.
