Prism Apartment Homes

We are so happy to have found this building in the heart of Kendall Square and only a block away from the river where it is the widest and glorious. The building is most advanced in terms of environmental safety: no VOCs, separate AC units for each apartment, and even ERVs (air gets cleaned every three hours). In addition, the management and support team keeps all common areas impeccably clean and humming. The convenience of parking in the underground garage, a beautiful common office space, state of the art gym and a lovely courtyard with a fire pit and grills for entertainment are what makes this feel like home, yet so much more.

We had a fantastic experience moving into Prism Apartment Homes, thanks to the amazing management team Tyler and Daniel! From the very beginning, they were incredibly helpful, responsive, and professional. Every question I had was answered quickly, and they made sure the entire move-in process was smooth and stress-free. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable in my new home. The apartment was clean, well-prepared, and exactly as promised. I’m really impressed with the level of care and attention they provide to new residents. Thank you to the team at Prism Apartments for making this such a positive experience!

Pros: good location, close to green line and red line stations. Quick and high-quality maintenance. Cons: 1) the ceiling fan in the bathroom cannot be turned off. It starts working about every 20 minutes, and each time it will keep running for nearly 30 minutes. I was told when I moved in that whenever the light is on the fan will work and when the light is off, the fan will stop working afterwards, which is apparently not true; 2) the tofu factory across the street has a large garbage truck picking up tofu waste every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday morning. The loading of the tofu waste will start at 7am which causes huge noises. BTW, the truck will arrive between 4am to 6am in the morning so be prepared for the beep noises caused by the truck when it arrives 3) The construction nex

I helped my daughter move in to a one-BR unit a few days ago. Lauren and Tyler have been very helpful. Orientation was smooth. The new unit had two very minor issues (shower water pressure [easily adjusted to have great pressure] and door lock [still in need of adjustment by the handyman]). The washer/dryer and refrigerator are GE. Bathroom is spacious, but there is no in-wall niche in the shower (remedied by a portable rack). Curtains over large windows in BR and living room windows facing the court yard are private enough, but adding day curtains may be perfect. The closet is medium-sized. There are two elevators in the six-story (plus P1 and P2) building. Each floor has a garbage room with recycle bins.
