Princeton Gardens

I lived at Princeton Gardens for nine months. At the beginning, Gerry was very cordial and flexible. He allowed me to extend from a six-month to a nine-month lease and did not charge me the pet fee since my dog was not living with me full-time. That said, because it was technically a twelve-month lease, I did pay an additional $250 per month for the shorter term. There were some positives: maintenance was responsive, and when a window fell during a storm and damaged one of my plants, they came quickly to fix it. The problems mostly came at the end of my lease. I had to move for a job out of town and asked if I could leave after eight months since August is an ideal time to re-rent an apartment. Despite the extra fees I had already paid, they would not let me out early, which I understood

I would like to report Gerry, the property manager at Princeton Gardens. He quoted us a 2 bedroom apartment for 1950 + 45 water use over the phone and IN WRITING, by email. I can provide proof. Then, he said that he mistyped the digit 1 on the email after we had already paid $225 application fees for the three of us. The real price of the rent came out to exactly $1000 more on the lease that he sent us. Also, he promised us to do a six months lease but he sent us a 12 months lease. Nothing he told us was true. If he were honest he would at least reimburse the $225. It was obvious fraud.
