Preston Square Apartments

Only lived here for about two weeks so far and I absolutely love it. Not only is the quality of the apartment great for the price, it just has everything you need. There's a pool right there that in my experience is open all the time, there's a fitness center just over at Mad House, there's a UVA bus stop right across the street, there's plenty of parking, and there's a very nice park right across the street as well. Only real downside is distance from the University, but with the bus stop and bikes it's not a big issue at all.

I lived in a first floor 2-bdrm 2-bath apartment here for a year. I loved having my own bathroom, and the kitchen appliances (microwave, stove, fridge) were nice and new. The floor is fake hard wood in the living room, and the kitchen/bathrooms have a higher quality tile-like laminate flooring. I can hear whenever people directly above me in the same room talk at normal levels if I'm not playing any videos with sound on my computer, although I can't hear what words they're saying at all. The first floor apartments are pretty dark in my opinion. During the daytime, unless it's extraordinarily bright with blue skies and not a cloud to be seen, I have to turn on a light in my bedroom to be able to do things comfortably.
