Prairiewood Meadows

I had been a tenant with them for several years now. I always knew they were the budget choice. Last few years, they have transitioned to full on slum lord. They raise the rent year over year to "match market value". Actually check the market value and you will find they are just increasing to make more money. [Update 3/5/26: they are trying to rent my apartment for 845$ monthly down from the 1100 monthly they were charging me. Only repair I could determine was that they replaced the microwave for some reason.] In addition to the rent, they removed the benefit of covered utilities. So now we have to pay utility cost for the WHOLE BUILDING split between the tenants. There is an admin fee on top of that as well. [$5 monthly]. They don't let you opt out and if you disagree with their policie

My name is Neil And I am a tenant that lives in The 137D building and I really appreciate the team at the Prairiewood Meadows office. I work horrid hours, so I’m hardly home to be able to fix the items that break from normal wear and tear. On many occasions, they have accomplished fixing items in my apartment that almost seemed impossible to be fixed. They are extremely helpful and In addition are extremely pleasant to deal with. thank you Prairiewood Medows Team for making my apartment feel like home.

0/0 stars, the plumbing is constantly breaking, leaking, and having issues. The water to the entire apartment buildings is constantly having to be shut off completely for repairs, expect to randomly go without water and not be able to shower, cook, clean, drink, etc. The buildings always stink of urine, both human and animal. Every time you enter the hallway to go to your home you get hit with an overwhelming rotten stench of pee. Little to no security, unhoused people are basically living in the halls, many times I’ve come across crack pipes and garbage in the halls. Ridiculously overpriced for the low quality that it is.

if i could give a million stars i would! trinity was AMAZING!! she was so personal and kind and it really improved our experience moving in here. she ensured my roommate and i were able to move in even though it was after hours. she was super understanding of our unique situation and she treated us with respect and made us feel valued. thank you trinity you’re awesome 💝💝

I relocated here independently, securing my own apartment, and Nakia provided invaluable assistance to me in various ways, likely without realizing the extent of my appreciation. I am truly impressed by the way they get every little thing done as soon as it is brought to their attention; this is one exceptional team you have here and I truly do appreciate all that you do!!!
