Prairie View Apartments

TBH. Apartments here are bigger than most. However, it is extremely outdated. We were shown a new unit that was remodeled. Told we would be renovated like the new unit. That was six months ago. Don't know when the renovation will start but hopefully soon. Management is way better than before. Leslie is good. She has to be stern at times or people will try to walk all over her. That's just NOT going to happen. I suppose you should treat people as you would like to be treated. You will get a better outcome. I have lived here almost 20 years. Yes, here a little while.

I lived here 4years, moved 2023 it was horrible being there it put me into the hospital , the apartment smelled like gas and stove kept ticking along with the fridge singing and making loud sounds along with the birds and squirrels and whatever else was running up in the walls and ceiling and I stayed on the highest floor which was 543D and our toilet stayed backed up tub also with water coming up from it it was horrible I ended up getting sick badly and now they're trying to charge me back rent hell no I didn't stay a whole year in that complex and kept telling them the problems I was having in the apartment but my complaints kept being over looked like I didn't matter and my health didn't either to them, I was eventually forced to move ,i was on bed bound etc and I have the medical reco

I advise anyone looking to rent to RUN and fast!!! The management is unethical, the apartments themselves are riddled with mice, roaches, mold and also lead!! this property has had horrible upkeep and has been run to the ground by poor property management, the lack of maintenance and inhabitable living conditions. Repairs are rare and the Landlord retaliates when you are aware of your rights and exercises that when seeking repairs and pest control, lead in walls you name it!! The Plumbing/pipes are so outdated and unsanitary. Every other day someones roof is caving in or apartment floods. They prey on the income marginalized people who have no choice but to rent places like these apartments because of their income in today's sky-rocketing inflation.
