Brianna Kelley got it right. They seem nice and then you move in… we moved into a very cute albeit filthy house with many damages we requested to be repaired (like being able to close/lock our doors). We had mold issues throughout our two year stay. They dismissed us over and over again saying it was “just mildew” and “mold has to come from inside the wall”. YES, that is how mold grows and it is black and raised. They took almost a month to remediate (still not sure they did or if they just cleaned/painted) our son’s ceiling with mold. When we were doing the walk through, they finally acknowledged it was bad. All about money!!!!! BEWARE!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I dealt with roaches and rodents throughout my entire stay. Maintenance issues took months to get fixed and they never fixed the bathroom exhaust before I moved out. My unit was not ready for move in. Landscaping was not kept up. This is a bare minimum property management company because they do absolutely nothing. They charged me $150 to patch holes throughout the bedroom and bathroom but there were no holes in the bathroom so that was a lie. Do not use this property management company. They seem nice until you move in then they screw joy over. BEWARE!!! Use a different company!

My experience with Mr. Wes was quite upsetting: I was out of town and came home to a water leak. Water was leaking into my condo from one of the units he manages. Although he resolved the leak up stairs, he was very uncaring and abrupt with me when I explained that my carpet was wet and fire calking was peeling. He said that “ it was just cosmetics” and give a call four days later. So, when i called him four days later questioning why didn’t he at least assess the damages to my unit from the leak on the same day? He went as far as say that my concerns were “mickey mouse” issues and being that it was Friday he couldn’t do anything until Tuesday of the following week. During a time when my credit wasn't as perfect as it should have been, this reality company gave me a chance. They approved me for a really quaint little house in the Hilton area that was perfect for me. The rent was reasonable and the neighbors were friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better place to live. It was an occasion where I locked myself out of my house on a rainy day. Thank God I just so happen to have my phone with the rental office on speed dial. I called the after hours emergency number and the owner came all the way from Norfolk or whenever he was to open up the door for me. I had a couple of minor repairs that they came to fix in a timely manner. The office manager and everyone was always so pleasant whenever I dealt with them. They were a blessing to me. I will

They truly come across as nice and pleasant people but once you walk in, its a different ball game. I rented from them for 3 years paying my rent on time and maintaining the house in the best shape. When I moved out the house was in a better shape then when I moved in but they are crooks when it comes to returning your deductible. They deduct what they want even though it was present on move in and is considered normal wear and tear. If you rent from them make sure to have a thorough inspection and document the smallest things, and have them fix it before you move in, NO MATTER WHAT. To save your self the headache your going to get once you move out ,,, Just stay away !!!
