Post Brothers – All Hype, No Accountability If you’re considering moving into a Post Brothers property—especially The Duchess in North Bergen, NJ—please read every review you can before signing anything. What I’ve experienced in just two months isn’t an isolated case; it’s part of a consistent, well-documented pattern of broken promises and mismanagement. Post Brothers sells a “luxury living” experience, but once you’re locked into a lease, the reality sets in: • The gym, sauna, and steam room are frequently out of service with no advance notice or timeline for repair. • Elevators break constantly, and tenants often don’t find out for days. • Cars get towed by mistake—mine included—and while we weren’t charged, it still took hours to retrieve the vehicle. Management brushed it off like i

Absolutely AWFUL experience with Post Brothers and the Piazza apartment complex. It took them 40 days to return my security deposit — well past the 30-day legal limit in Pennsylvania. I know of someone that moved out in MARCH and still has not received their check. Twelve days after I moved out, their accounting department hadn’t even started the process per Patrick McKellick. Weeks went by with no check. I was told by their manager Molly Burns that it was “in the mail” — it never was. I had to contact an attorney and threaten legal action to get any movement. When I finally got the check (dated the day I picked it up, not weeks earlier), it was clear they never processed or mailed the original. No explanation, no accountability — just complete disregard for tenant rights. This kind of

My experience with Post Brothers has been extremely troubling. They engage in deceptive and predatory practices, adding thousands of dollars of bogus fees at move-out, including charges for an auto-renewal that was never agreed to. Emails go completely ignored, leaving tenants stressed, frustrated, and without recourse. Even more concerning is that they rent to tenants without employment, stable income, or cosigners, putting vulnerable renters—including young adults with special needs—at risk of exploitation. In this case, a teenage tenant with disabilities was subjected to fraudulent fees, unnecessary stress, and severe financial pressure, with management providing no support or assistance. Post Brothers’ lack of transparency, accountability, and basic fairness is alarming. I strongly c

Would give zero stars if I could. The absolute worst property management office I have ever dealt with. Submitted 3 separate maintenance requests for an issue with our front door lock, kept getting marked as resolved when nobody came to fix the problem. Lock finally broke and while sitting outside our home at 7am was told somebody would be by “today”. Both my wife and I missed work and were still told we need to pay a fee for the assistance. Unbelievable and do not recommend their properties to anyone.

I paid rent for my Uncle for a 2 bedroom for prob 8 years. Went through the maintenance issues and pool closures water heater…. My Uncle passed away just after the 60 day termination. Talked to person on site that day that the funeral home came to get him. Week later they automatically renew the lease! I did tell them with the circumstances we wouldn’t need to renew. Almost $200k to a place and no condolences just an auto renew that was never possible before ( I live in Florida and had to scan previously ) Then when I go to clean out apartment 2 weeks prior to lease ending as I should, the manager wouldn’t even do my final walk though but had someone else on staff. I strongly recommend to not use this company!
