Portofino Senior Apartments

The day I moved in there was major water damage in the apartment next door to me due to a water pipe bursting. My walls should have been opened and dried. This has happened to me twice before, but on a smaller scale at previous apartments. They opened the walls to prevent mold and mildew. There will be problems in the future since this was not done correctly. This happened on the 3rd floor. The 2nd and 1st floors were damaged from the water. The water was not shut off for about 20 minutes. About a foot of water filled the apartment. This property has a history of water damage. The blowers ran for over two weeks drying out the walls. The city of Henderson closed the apartment due to the water damage. I moved out in less than one month!

This is a fabulous place to live. The apts. are pretty - it feels like a luxurious condo, and the views of the well-kept grounds are gorgeous. Also: management is extremely helpful and kind. Big thumb's upto Christina and Norma. Thanks for all you do for us.

Portifino Apartments are just one step above slum status. As a former Police Officer I have been in crack houses,Section 8 and slums so I know what I’m talking about. My first month there I had roaches and had to get on the bug list for treatment. Building one was shut down for a bed bug infestation. In the year that I was there I had roaches three times.Building 2 floor 3 has a hole in the floor that they cover up with carpet. When I walked on it I would sink down thinking I was going to fall through the floor.People feed pigeons there so the bird shit is all over the sidewalks, balconies, cars and garbage cans.There are coyotes that roam freely at night because one resident feeds the rabbits so if you have a dog you have to keep your head on a swivel. I love my apartment!!! It is so quiet & peaceful. I have been here for about 6 months Christina & Norma have continued to be very helpful with any needs or questions I may have Always friendly!! Maintenance works very hard - They always seem to answer service requests promptly. The staff cares about the tenants - That's hard to find these days . My experience with Management and the staff at Portofino Senior Apartments has been overwhelmingly pleasant. Christina sets the tone with her knowledge of the industry and her property. Norma and Rachel kindly answered all of my questions after showing us a couple of units. The maintenance men are quick to make repairs with a friendly smile. I highly recommend these apartments.
