Portico Property Management

My recent experience with Portico Property Management has been extremely disappointing. I took possession of my unit at Digit 1919 in Dallas, TX on February 13, 2026. On move-in day, I observed a live roach and reported it immediately. I was told the unit had already been treated prior to move-in. Despite that assurance, I continued to see roaches throughout the apartment, including juvenile roaches in multiple areas and even one in my bed. A second treatment was performed, but activity persisted. In addition to the pest issue, the unit had a strong urine odor that was never fully resolved and a draft coming from the large garage-style window that required repair. This is easily one of the BEST management companies I've had the pleasure of dealing with. I understand that Portico is a middle man for my current property, and they handle every situation with incredible customer service, professionalism and poise. I looked up their mission and values and can say that they truly put their money where their mouth is. I will definitely be sure to seek them out for my rental and will continue to recommend them!

Living under Portico Property Management has been one of the most frustrating and negligent experiences I’ve ever had with an apartment community. I am leaving this property due to the consistent lack of communication, maintenance, and accountability from both the on-site staff and Portico itself. The biggest issue has been maintenance, as work orders are ignored, calls and voicemails go unanswered, and when we do reach someone, we are often reassured with promises that never materialize. We have tried to call Portico as well and have had no luck. The most recent incident happened on 8/18/25 when the building was being pressure washed. Water leaked under our front door and beneath the vinyl flooring, causing water damage and what now appears to be mold. I called the leasing office at 2:28

This company has charged me unauthorized and non lease agreements amounts over the last few months. Their staff is rude, abrupt and condescending and worst of all discriminating. They have practiced retaliatory behavior by increasing charges on my account immediately after having discussions in good faith. I was forced removed security and utility costs improvements. Now I feel unsafe and threatened! I recommend Portico to be audited by all means immediately!

I was a resident for ten years I believe I was wrongfully taken out with out proper explanation because of my roommate my name was on that lease as a married person I was only a occpunt.not a couple but yes I'm still responsible for his mistake they refused the total payment plus there asking to be removed in 8 days thats great m my issue issue is they didn't want the payment for us to leave .doesn't matter how long your at a property yor wrongfully being targe.thank you portico I still belive this is discrimination. On my part .how can we has roommates be targeted to make it right ive left many calls never returned I will take many pictures for my safety and will say wear and tear does happen after 20 years with old appliances and old carpet old everything.
