Portico Kirby

I live in this apartment. The hallways are often dirty. The apartment feels unsafe, and my friend’s car was stolen from the parking lot. The gym is poorly equipped. Most of the kitchen appliances are old. Most importantly, there is a constant unpleasant odor due to the nearby water treatment facility.

At first glance the apartment looked great , some small blemishes you would expect from an older apartment, but after moving in, within the first hour we were met with a series of unpleasant surprises, starting with an infestation of SPIDERS found all over the apartment including the bath tubs, as well as a beatle found in the closet. We were surprised because our leasing agent was extremely nice & told us our apartment was clean, but I’m not sure WHEN it was cleaned. The dishwasher had stains on it & the bath tub is yellow with the ceiling leaking. The fridge was not clean there were brown stains and crumbs all around and the drawers were sticky inside, I had to clean it myself. There were cobwebs everywhere. The carpets feel grimy & not clean. Needed to be in the Medical District, and we couldn't have found a better place. Rented a furnished apt in less than an hour. Apartment was super cute, very accessible and perfect for our patient and guests. Area was beautiful. Close to hospital, shopping, pharmacy and rehab.
