I have been renting a beautiful & very resonably priced Property for the past 3+ years. The Landlord Andrew N. Has been very responsive and exceeded expectations in every way. Pollard & Bagby has been wonderful to work with. Kathleen has provided fast, efficient and super friendly service and has responded to every question quickly. Pollard & Bagby has a reputation for being a rental mogul in Richmond. However in my experience they have been helpful, understanding and more than willing to work with you. James has been my main point of contact and he is the best! I love my apartment I’m renting and just resigned.

Notice how all negative reviews are from tenants and all positive are from landlords… WILL keep your deposit for “routine cleaning” which is illegal! Went 2+ YEARS waiting for one specific work order to be completed. All manner of issues: water leaks, broken appliances, building security issues, ROACH infestation etc. were ignored. All this while I paid 100% on time for 3 years! Maintenance guy was helpful but the company is awful.

Pollard and Bagby was the worst renting experience I have ever had. During my time renting with them it would take months to get anything fixed when I put in a work order, sometimes they didn’t even address it and just marked it as taken care of. James Grant was wildly unprofessional talking to potential renters about myself and saying to stay away from me when coming to look at my apartment. Potential renters were looking for an opinion about the space and He did not like that I was honest with them about how poorly managed Polar and Bagby is. Do not rent from this company. They are not good at managing properties and the clients they work for are careless as well. That was at least my experience with them.

James is great to work with. He’s super reliable and always willing to help, no matter the situation. He’s the kind of person who doesn’t just do the bare minimum—he actually takes the time to figure things out and makes sure they’re handled the right way. Whenever something comes up, I know I can count on him to find a solution quickly and keep things moving. Really appreciate how easy he is to work with and how much he cares about doing a good job.
