Pirates Cove Student Living

WOULD BE 0 STARS IF GOOGLE ALLOWED IT!!!! Had my wife’s car towed today from the parking lot because her parking pass had fallen onto the floorboard and wasn’t visible. $165 later, here we are. It feels incredibly predatory to have tow trucks seemingly patrolling parking lots just looking for student cars to tow. Situations like this—where the resident clearly has a pass but it simply fell—should at least warrant a warning before immediately towing the vehicle. This experience says a lot about the policies at Pirate Cove Student Housing. A little common sense and consideration for residents would go a long way.

As this is my first apartment, I may be a little biased, but I do really enjoy living here, especially considering the price. With my rent being well under $500, you can't beat the price. Of course, it's not perfect, but if I wanted perfect, I'd live a little closer to campus and pay almost $1100 for a smaller amount of space with harder access to my apartment. I always find the staff friendly and often greet them in public if I see them. Loving it so far.

Pirate’s Cove has been nothing short of amazing during our moving transition. The staff is super sweet, answered every question, phone call, and helped in a time of need. Personally, I love the basketball court, and the spacious room in the apartments! Very affordable and definitely recommend to students looking for off campus housing.

If you want or NEED affordable student living, pirates cove is your #1 choice. Their spacious living spaces and incredible amenities such as pools gyms basketball and pickleball courts always keep me busy! It’s incredible just how beautiful this place is. I’ve loved living here this past semester and I’ve renewed to live here again for the 2025/2026 year! They’re pet friendly, which is great because I got to bring my cat with me. They also have many amenities, including two pools, basketball, pickleball, a hammock garden, and they’re putting in a new soccer court. ECU also has a bus that comes by, which makes the commute easier! I know they also have a bus for Pitt students as well. Those working in the office are also great at working with you, especially when things pop up.
