Pierhouse at Channelside

I was thinking about moving somewhere downtown so decided to take a tour at Pierhouse. I was impressed with the refurbished apartment I was shown and decided to move here end of January. My experience so far has been tremendous and the main reason is the role Jessica played as my lease consultant. She was consistently helpful, positive, and responsive throughout the process. Hoping the rest of my lease is remotely close to the leasing experience!

This is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in in Florida, and the only lease I’ve ever broken. From day one, it was a disaster. On move-in day, the leasing office told me my family could park in “future resident” spots to help me unload and move in. Then, in a stunning display dishonesty, the same leasing office called a tow truck and had my sister’s car towed. It cost $200 to get the car back, and management refunded only $100, as if that somehow made it okay. Starting a lease by towing a resident’s family member is beyond unacceptable. Parking is an ongoing nightmare. There is no guest parking, period. Guests are either forced to pay for garage parking or are verbally told they can park in “future resident” spots after hours, despite massive signs everywhere saying “TOW AWAY ZON

I moved to Pierhouse in 2022 and moved out in 2025 because my partner got a new job in a different state. We loved Pierhouse! Their staff is friendly and their maintenance team is incredibly hard working. They fulfill maintenance requests in a timely manner. It's in a great location and the nearby area is lovely! Very dog friendly as well with so many dog parks in the surrounding area plus one dog park inside of the Pierhouse community.

I’ve had a great experience living at Pierhouse. The location is perfect, the apartments are spacious, and the amenities are excellent. Every time I’ve submitted a service request, maintenance has responded within 2 hours, which is amazing. Highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a well-managed place to live.

We have lived here for almost three years and overall really enjoy the community and our experience. However, we did have a very frustrating situation with the rental insurance policy. We were charged fees for three months without any notification, even though we were never actually out of compliance—our insurance company simply failed to send the documentation to property management. When we reached out to the leasing office staff, the response was disappointing. The team did not seem to care and made little effort to resolve the issue or waive the fees, despite the fact that we had always been compliant.
