I was a resident for three years. I once had a maintenance worker walk into my bedroom while I was in bed half asleep and he continued to talk to me while I was yelling for him to get out over and over. Upon move out, management made a gross error and was attempting to send me a very large bill when actually I was owed a deposit. I notified them of the error and they offered no apology and sent me the corrected statement and refund. Highly unprofessional staff.

Philly Office Retail is the best leasing company I've ever had the pleasure of renting from. They are professional, fair, honest, trust worthy and care a lot about bringing about positive change to the Germantown area. They have a nice website where you can pay or add issues for them too see - easy to use interface and makes everything streamlined. I highly recommend them. They have helped me out so many times, always quickly, and are so nice as well! Great team of people overall and they know their business.

Most unprofessional leasing office I've ever dealt with. They advertised a 1BR, 1BA apartment for rent with pictures. When I arrived they showed me a unit that was completely different than the pictures a 2BR, 2BA which cost was 50% higher in rent. I took time off of work to view this listing and they completely wasted my time. Would not recommend this company as they clearly have no idea what they are doing. If this is how they handle showings I can't imagine the nightmare they would be to deal with as an actual tenant.

I did not have a good experience with this management company. Literally forced me out of my apartment and was not willing to compromise with me having a child. The manager Kate that made the final decision dodged emails and phone calls when I tried to address the cowardly neighbors complaining of nose from a 4 year old child. Was literally forced to choose between keeping the apartment and having my child be homeless. No empathy whatsoever. The apartment itself was beautiful but wish Things were handled differently than how they transpired. Je’Juan was very friendly and professional. Will never do business with this management company again. Was literally the only tenant in the building with a child and forced out by elderly neighbors. Horrible experience.

We've rented a commercial loft space from Philly Office Retail for the past 3.5 years. Maintenance staff has always been friendly, helpful and attentive to any issues in the building. No major complaints! Aside from the building we're in, they're busy renovating and repurposing many storefronts and old industrial buildings in Germantown and Mt. Airy. Their Jumpstart Germantown program offers education and financial services to potential real estate investors in the neighborhood... it's all really positive stuff, promoting a self starting, growth from within mentality in the community. It's an exciting time to live and work in Germantown!
