PepperTree Apartments

I have mixed emotions about living there. We never had issues with management or too much of a rent increase every year. If there was ever an issue, maintenance would be there and fix or temporarily fix the problem until they could have professionals handle the situation. My main complaint is from the company that over sees and manages the buildings, not with the people at the front office. The interior is outdated, the dishwashers are outdated, hot water heaters are old and never had maintenance, the central air is outdated and struggles to work efficiently (ours went out a few times) , insulation is minimum, and the windows are probably the cheapest ones you could get. I understand a business has to make money. But a $200 power bill during the winter (we don't run the heater) is insane!

This is the apartment nothing like the model. Leaking windows I'm sure it's a health hazard. After 6 weeks now that I'm calling corporate they want to fix it actually paint over so next tenant doesn't know. Have talked to others here and leaking water from outside is a huge problem and pretty sure there could be mold since it's not being taken care of. Management is rude and threatening. I will be terminating my lease. Don't do anything without email or texts since manager is less than honest. Pictures are from the day I signed my lease 😞 since I drove 1,200 miles I couldn't just turn around and go back. We've been here 2 months and really like this place! They offer a lot and keep up on it looking pretty nice. The office personnel is very nice and professional, and the maintenance crew is always out & about taking care of things. It would be nicer, though, if there were better instructions for the trash compactor and also wished people picked up after themselves & their pets a bit more so that we don't have to look at it (or step in it) until the maintenance crew (or mother nature) gets the chance to clean things up. However, we do our part to help keep things looking nice because we care about this place and our neighbors. <3

They don't care about the customer's well-being, they just want money. The carpet is trash, old, the apartment is full of cockroaches, they do everything to take your money. We lived there for 2 years because it was cheaper than other apartments, but every month they raised the rent instead of renovating the apartments. When we moved out, there was a torn piece of the closet in my daughter's bedroom. In the end, they deducted money for something THEY DID, DEDUCTED THIS AMOUNT FROM THE DEPOSIT WE MADE WHEN WE MOVED IN, even though it was already there when we moved in!!! A MESS. And in the end, they deducted $173 for water, even though we had already paid. DON'T MOVE INTO THIS APARTMENT. It's worth paying more to live in a newer condominium.

Place is dirty & outdated. Not worth what they make you pay for. Paper thin walls, terrible plumbing, and outdated appliances and carpeting/ counter tops. Whole place needs to be redone if they think its okay to charge what they do for a 14 year old property. They take forever to get back to you in the office. I will say maintenance comes pretty quick to fix whatever the issue is, but only fixes it temporarily. I've had my disposal *fixed* 4 times in 21/2 years. As well as my AC has went out 3X. One of these times they places a machine in my bedroom too *cool* it down, and my utilities TRIPPLED that month and the office said oh well not my problem. I never even used the machine I stayed away while the AC was out. Management doesn't care they just work to have a job. The turn around in my b
