Terrible experience. Three college age kids signed a lease to rent a house. On inspection/walk through day one of the kids and his parents (not me) are shown the house by Pentwell staff. There was mold/mildew all over a toilet seat and there was significant mold/mildew and paint chips on a window sill. They did replace the toilet seat and cleaned up the window sill. Now, with concerns about the possibility of mold in unseen areas of the house (it had been unoccupied for at least 7 months) we asked the owners to do a mold inspection/test just to be sure it was safe. They refused. Said if we wanted a mold test we would have to arrange and pay for it ourselves. We suggested the owner and management company probably should know it’s safe for people to live in therefore they should do the test

We had wonderful experience staying at one of the properties maintained by Pentwell. Thomas and his office people are very professional and quick to respond for any queries or issues we had during our stay. The maintenance service is very good and easy to place through their online portal or directly texting them. They made sure that we had a peaceful and hustle free stay in our house. If you are looking for a professionally maintained property, I will highly recommend to contact the Pentwell.

I would caution anyone considering moving here. I have been charged monthly for a washer and dryer that has not worked properly for months, despite repeated complaints to management. Each time I’ve raised the issue, nothing has been resolved, yet the charges continue. It’s frustrating and unfair to be billed for amenities that don’t work, leaving me no choice but to spend extra time and money at the laundromat! Take heed before signing a lease here.

Our AC went down at 6pm Tuesday night and I put in a maintenance request right away and Kristen responded within minutes. She had the AC tech out within a couple hours. I appreciate their dedication and commitment to ensure that we were taken care of.
