Penrose Square Apartments

After living at Penrose for 7 years I would love to share my experience to others who are thinking of moving in. -This apartment is CLEAN. Their standards are very high and you would never deal with any type of pests. -The building is completely secured and security cameras are everywhere. It’s not easy to get into the building. -Work orders are completed asap. You never wait for something to be fixed. -My apartment was spacious with multiple closets and a walk in closet. (2 bedroom unit) - Good location (minus the constructions on Columbia pike) it connects south Arlington with N Arlington , super close to DC. -I give 4 stars because not all staff were friendly, they don’t treat all residents the same, and they definitely don’t like kids.

I currently live here and all I can say is dont get an apartment in the front facing the park and columbia pike. People are there all day and all night! You will get no sleep. They play music there all day and sometimes even all night. There is construction constantly on culumbia pike. The apt is clean, some staff is nice, some isnt. They charge you for everything! Cant wait to get out!

We had a truly positive experience living here. The property was consistently well-maintained .Leasing office team was always responsive and helpful. Their support whenever we had questions or needed assistance made our stay comfortable and stress free.

I recently moved into this community, and so far my experiences have been extremely positive. When I first toured the apartment, Michael was friendly and informative, and he sent me follow up emails with additional information that was not available during the tour. Prior to moving in, I encountered a few logistical challenges that could have delayed the process, however the leasing team, Michael and Toma, were accommodating and helpful throughout. Upon move in, my apartment was clean and smelled fresh, which is especially helpful for me due to allergy concerns. I was a resident in Penrose Square from Dec 2019 - Feb 2024. The Good: - Location is great and not too far away from DC. - One of the leasing agents (Tomma) and a few of the receptionists were pretty pleasant to deal with. - Maintenance quickly addressed any concerns The Bad: - I had more than a few unpleasant conversations with the leasing staff (Ryane the Community Manager and Mike). They often generally seemed annoyed and uninterested when interacting with them. - I had an ongoing noise issue for which the staff claimed they could not figure out where the noise was coming from.
