Pend Oreille Apartments

A nightmare. Both the building & 'managers'. A nasty, filthy, nightmare. The building is totally cement with all (lots of rust) metal kitchens & mostly crummy appliances. 2-3 tiny little inadequate heaters, rotting/crumbling flooring, filthy threadbare carpets, a desperate need for paint, black mold, rodents, & cobwebs draped everywhere, bed bugs on 2 different floors when I lived there. Did I mention the filth? Fair Warning: put your valuables in storage elsewhere or take them when you leave your unit. Ghosts steal stuff kinda' regularly - lots and lots of ghost stories. Attached you will find an article penned by the Mayor of Metaline Falls who did not put names to the building or managers but the entire town of about 230 knew precisely what and who she was referring to as these issues

Lived here over a year. Love it. Quiet, great neighbors. Manager is awesome. Laundry room is open 24hrs which makes it very convenient for anyone who works nights. Town is small, quiet and friendly. *update* Have now lived here almost 3yrs. Still amazing. Does not have modern amenities but is sound and we love it. As for the review about hot water, building is old, almost 100yrs. Was a hotel back before it was apartments. We DO get hot water, but it's community hot water. If you're on an upper floor it takes longer. Never seen ANY mice. Manager is AWESOME!!!

Absolutely filthy. Have to look over your shoulder all the time. Most tenants don't shower often it reeks. No A/C as listed in anemities. Overall disgusting environment. I'd be surprised if most tenants had all their teeth due to poor hygiene.

Untrustworthy management, slum, severe problems with rusty pipes, 20 minutes to get hot water, asbestos, mice, elevator braking down constantly, not well heated at all.after 3 years only one tenant got deposit back. Be careful items always stolen from apartments.

Common areas kind of dingy. Quiet. Art deco.
