Peace of Mind Property Management

I worked with Keya, who promised that the carpets would be cleaned and the walls painted before my move-in. I trusted her, but on the day I opened the door, nothing had been done, the carpet was filthy and the walls untouched. She simply lied, knowing I had no choice but to move in because I had already given up my previous home. This property management company cuts corners at every opportunity. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and provide the lowest quality service I’ve ever experienced. Save yourself the stress and stay away.

Lived here for 4 years the worst experience ever. If I had the means I would have moved sooner. Not only did the house not pass the initial housing inspection making me wait and extra two weeks to move in. Then had numerous water leaks that they tried to say was my fault cause I wasn’t consistently checking for leaks. Took them months to fix and they had the nerve to ask me if I could find a way to soak up the water on my sopping wet carpet. Shelving was either held together with inches of glue or screws. The kitchen floor was sinking and the landlord that runs the majority of the company she was the absolute worst. Rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Consistently violating my tenant rights. My heater broke she sent out a “repair” company who did an illegal inspection for her while he

The worst Property management company I have ever dealt with. They never came to fix anything the property has a horrible smell, the outside of the property is filthy, they say that there is an HOH, but no one cleans up. They actually tried to get my husband to do maintenance on other properties they own, but they never said how they would pay him. They just took our money and we could not get in touch with anyone to finish the repairs that were needed when we moved in, they told us they just purchased the property and that they would be finishing the work. When I tried to give them a 30 day notice they would not give me an email to send them the notice, instead they text me repeatedly with rude and demeaning comments. Literally the absolute worst property management I have ever had to deal with. Managers have attitude, have ignored or taken their time responding to any and all requests I’ve made- including the neumerous times that my kitchen has flooded. And when they send people to do repairs it’s been at completely unreasonable times- most of which are completely outside of business hours like last night at 8pm. It took me threatening an attorney and an email request every single day before they actually came and took care of the issues that we had been requesting for months. I read the horrible reviews before moving into the house that we are in (which has been nothing but problems the entire time) and thought we’d give it a try. Huge mistake. I didn’t want to believe the reviews on here and ended up applying for a beautiful house with the intention of being very professional and communicating directly and clearly with the hopes that our experience would be different. The reviews are absolutely correct- this is the most frustrating company I have worked with and I regret spending any time or money with Peace of Mind. They are poor communicators, disorganized, rude, very unclear and seemingly unsure of many of the things they were asking for, and unwilling to show us certain policies in writing. The only kind person I ever spoke to was the receptionist. I’ve never been so frustrated and angry trying to get clarity about certain things and communicating, period.
