I moved here from Florida to be closer to my children and granddaughter. I had sold two homes in Florida and needed to purchase a home here in Lancaster County, PA. After working with a realtor and seeing homes that were in my price range. The homes, either were too small or in need of major updating. Super frustrating. After a Christmas party and discussing my frustration with the market, my sister in law suggested either a mobile home or manufactured home. I totally shot her down! She said don’t be so negative, look before I say no. I took her advice and started at one end of Lincoln Highway and proceeded east and stopped at 3 companies. We signed the paper work in 2025. If you dont have money to waste dont buy here. We stayed in our price range and in order to do that they took away very critical things like, water proof house wrap. The stuff used to protect you sheathing from condensation and leaks through poorly done siding. And the siding waves like a flag in a hurricane. The craftsmanship is trash on our single wide. They even vented the septic into the house. Now my guest bathroom always smells like shit. And these are toxic gasses that will kill you in concentrated amounts. Currently in contact with a lawyer over this. This is flagrant disregard for saftey.

Had the home for about 6 months now. Paid top dollar for it got bottom dollar results. Outside is great but that's where it stopped, the inside is Embarrassing to bring people into. Doors don't stay shut windows only open half way trim work is gross as all hell, but the worse part is I already need new cabinets. I've called alot never get a call back anymore. I'm in the stage of getting a lawyer just a heads up beware if you're going to do business with.
