DO NOT FILL OUT ANY APPLICATIONS! They told us we HAD to fill out an application to verify our numbers even though we had pre-approval from our lender because they were the builder's preferred lender. Had I known that's not actually required, I would've told them absolutely not. As soon as I filled out the application my info was sold and my phone was BLOWING UP the next day, and is still blowing up with mortgage and scam calls. It's been months now. As part of this "requirement to verify numbers", they promised me they wouldn't run a credit check until my actual mortgage broker did. Not only did they run a hard check without notifying me, they didn't even tell my mortgage broker. So I had 2 hard checks which tanked my credit score. Why is a company who is not even processing my loan: 1.
