Everyone I know who unfortunately bought a McBride home has had major issues and McBride won't do anything to fix the problems. Terrible craftsmanship, foundations and basement cracks are huge. Tapping if you don't see it at first you will a year later along with nails popping out. Contracts are ridiculous and you get the bare minimum with everything being an extra. The extras will cost a lot also because you have to go through their design team and company. Homes so close together is like living in an apartment. Do some research and the problems other communities they have built and the lawsuits they claim are not their fault putting people in bad situations. I don't understand why the State doesn't step in but I guess it's all about the money and tax revenue at homeowners expense.

Poor quality of craftsmanship. Mcbride doesn't care and neither do its contractors. Our one-year-old ranch home is always hot in the summer. The A/C runs 12+ hours a day our electric bills average $300 a month in the summer. We had 3 visits from Welsch in 2024 and one visit so far in 2025 where we were told our a/c was undersized and our return air vents are placed incorrectly. Our basement has over 20 cracks in the foundation. Drywall tape/mud work looks like the neighborhood handyman did it. Columns out of plumb. Outside light can be seen from inside the basement where it shouldn't be seen. There are voids under exterior concrete. The driveway and patio were replaced only for the ground underneath them to sink again and McBride to deny our claims. Some of the items they “fixed” but it’s
