Parkside Terrace Apartments

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but my experience at Parkside Terrace Apartments has pushed me to speak up — especially for anyone considering moving here. During my time living at this property, safety has been a constant concern. In the last couple of years, I personally experienced (1) a visitor’s car being broken into with an attempted wheel theft, and (2) another visitor’s car being stolen entirely. To my knowledge, this is actually the third vehicle theft on the property, not counting break-ins. (3)The unending mice/rodents issue. There have also been two homicides right outside my window, frequent suspicious activity day and night, non-residents coming through the property from the park behind the complex, and people smoking literally hot-boxing the buildings regardless of the

We loved Parkside Terrace! It's no frills - no dishwasher, laundry in basement, etc - but it's affordable, quiet, kept clean (in our experience), and you have a little balcony. We met many lovely neighbors, many of whom had lived there for years or even decades, and you walk out the door to a gorgeous park, which was such a gift for us. We loved being there! ♡

Overall, lovely community, great neighbors(minus one domestic), conveniently located near school and parks and shopping!! Its very ideal however over-priced!! The mice are beyond annoying. When I first moved, there was a field of rats behind the building where the fence was locked down. They would do routine pest control, but it never solved the issue. Just be prepared to share your space with rodents! There a several hols they come in, pest control filled a couple but the mice just created newer holes, or pushed stuffing out.

It's OK, but, hallways smell like middle eastern concentrated curry/tahini/baba ganoush armpit sweat, Goat Fum-un-da taint cheese, stir fried unknowns marinaded and placed over top rice with brown gravy and fish, stinking cuttlefish ... at least it did the 30 years my grandmother lived there ...

It's quiet and the park across from the apartments is nice.
