Parklane Apartments

We lived here for about 1.5 years. The only positives are that they don’t scrutinize your rental or credit history too closely when you move in, and the landscaping on the property looks nice. The downside follows from that: the place attracts outright riffraff and marginal people. Be prepared for frequent visits from sheriff’s deputies and for neighbors who may leave pet feces in the shared washing machines. The quality of management deserves special mention. It is hard to imagine more unreliable and careless people, who treat their responsibilities with such negligence.

When the main water pipe burst and flooded our apartment, you responded quickly and took care of all the necessary repairs. During the renovation, you provided us with alternative housing within the same complex, which was a great relief for us. This support meant the world to us. I recently visited your community for a tour and wanted to share some feedback about my experience. Unfortunately, I did not feel welcomed or treated respectfully by the staff during my visit. The front desk representative and the assistant in the back were both dismissive, and I felt as though my questions were treated as an inconvenience. When I asked about the reasonable accommodation process, I was spoken to in a way that made me feel belittled. I was told, “that’s not what that’s for,” even though, as a former leasing agent myself, I know that reasonable accommodations can apply to a variety of needs. Awful place to live, the conditions they offer here are disgusting even for animals, but people live here. All the apartments are moldy and they won't fight it, they don't care about your health, they'll just paint over the mold and that's it. The apartments stink of dampness and old age. The staff is not interested in improving life here and they settle people with bad social status. There are no checks before moving in and it's not safe to live here at all. You will constantly smell marijuana here. Avoid this place because you and your children will not be safe here!

As far as our experience living here twice we would strongly recommend. The staff in all levels are very helpful, friendly and provide great service. As all apartment living you have your different personalities of residents. The landscaping beautiful and well maintained. Love the safety of secured buildings as well as the option of doing laundry in the hallway laundry room of your building or by their main laundry facility. The maintenance staff are timely , friendly, professional and top notch!, the complex has amazing storage in apartment as well spacious bedroom and bathroom space.
