Parkchester

Parkchester is practicing the discrimination act on people with section 8 voucher holder. The government need to step in and do something about parkchester. I been harassed ever since I moved here by tenants that live on top of me and next doors to me. I reported to parkchester legal department where I talked to a young lady there, where she first blown me off and then tell me she not going to do anything. This is worst place to live. I recommend no one move here. And those with section 8 voucher. Report them to the courts, bronx district council, even to the attorney general, everyone government officials. This need to stop. I used to love it here but management is slow and CHEAP!!! I had to wait 6 months for them to plaster and paint the apartment, specifically told them it needed a fresh coat in all rooms. They came plastered the holes and painted only over what was plastered. Now I have mismatched colored walls because they no longer carried the original color my walls were painted. Also cleaned mold with bleach, hallways have giant water bugs, the one elevator is out every other week, the heat works when it wants to, doors on the apartment don’t close/ lock. Been here for 18 years have 2 condos and I feel like I’m back in the projects.

A year ago I gave 5 star to parkchester, but I have a big change of heart. But to they lady's in the leasing department. Thank you sincerely thank you, we cool. But the rest of parkchester, ok I see it's about money and nothing else. Y'all don't about what goes on with the new tenants that come in. And my biggest surprise y'all discrimination. Y'all thought I wasn't gonna find out about y'all monitoring my phone. Anyone that sees this post. Don't move here it's the worst. And the parkchester will track & monitor your every movement in your apartments.

This place is running an absolute SCAM!! Do not submit application for apartments. They are simply collecting application fees and claiming there is a wait-list after your application is approved. They are advertising on their website and on various platforms with available apartments and yet after you apply, pay the fees and submit numerous personal documentations relating to SSN, Income and Wage statements, Tax returns etc. they give an undefined waiting period for an apartment to become available. We will be reporting this establishment to the authorities.

I applied and I've found that this company will only accept vouchers if you pay 30% of your rent. If you're a full voucher applicant, they will take your app fee, give you an approval letter and you will never hear from them again. They are very unethical. It's sad that they will take advantage of people who are already going through a hard time. May their lives be filled with TORMANT!
