Papillon Apartments

Worst place to live my packages keep getting stolen got college kids throwing party's every other weekend till 4:00 AM in the morning I've talked to management they will not do nothing about it this has been going on for over a year I keep complaining about it management just does not care for the people that live here. I'll be moving out in a couple months due to how loud it is and because of pore management and the crime rate is so bad.

I'm bummed to leave a 3 star review for Papillon, because I genuinely loved living here. It's one of the few apartments in Fresno that allows for a month-to-month rent, which I needed at the time. It's a great and quiet community and I felt super safe living there. It's a lot of families and young adults. I had a few hang-ups at Papillon, like the carpets being shampooed AS I WAS MOVING IN, but the leasing office made it right. Fast forward to move-out. When I put in my notice, I called the leasing office to ask about scheduling a move-out walkthrough. They said no, it was fine. I really regret doing that, because it's my right as a tenant to have a walkthrough upon move-out. I paid for cleaners, but not carpet cleaners, so I expected that to be taken out. When I first moved in in December of 2011 I had no issues. The office manager Cindy was amazing and even went out of her way to get us into an apartment after learning of our situation. Any maintenance that needed to be done was done within a day or 2. Flash forward to 2013 and there was a new apartment manager in the office every month. Starting about 2 years ago, they decided to completely stop doing their jobs and playing favorites. My AC went out twice and I was told that because it was blowing out kind of cold air I was not a priority and that they'd "get to it". When I was 8 months pregnant my water heater went out on us in the middle of winter. I called every single day for a week and each time they'd send their repair man to come light the pilot when it was obviously not working. W

My family and I moved to these apartments in 2018. We recently moved out, due to finally buying our first home. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. Our cars got broken into several times & when we reported it, they would always tell us “oh nothing happens here, it’s a good place. There’s not much we can do”. Our neighbors would even tell us the same thing happened to their cars & they would tell them the exact same thing they told us. The ladies at the front desk are super rude, they definitely need some customer service training. A month before we left they left us a letter at our door complaining about everything that was on our balcony. They said residents were complaining about our grill being there. Mind you, we had no propane for it or anything that can start a fire. O
