Another gentleman had been waiting on title work with no answers on a cash transaction for over three weeks. First RED FLAG. I went ahead and put trust in Carlos to handle my work after he assured me it was a one-off and that he would get our commitment back soon. A full month with no response led to my next interaction with Carlos - Friday, August 9th, mind you our contract was set to expire August 1st, more excuses and to my surprise, he hadn’t even touched the file. The new lawyer they have hired in Neal’s absence was in the office asking for overdue paperwork. Another RED FLAG. Frustrated, he assured me I would have the full package no later than COB on Friday.
